Event Guru Software’s COO, Mark Williams, was elected to his 3rd term as the Chair for the Corporate Advisory Council at the Association of Collegiate and Conference and Events Directors- International.  “It is an honor to be involved with ACCED-I in this leadership position and I look forward to continuing to work hard to help strengthen and grow their corporate membership,” said Mark.  He has been involved with ACCED-I for over 16 years as both an institutional member and a corporate member.  He has outlined a few strategies he plans to implement over the next 12 months:

• Work with ACCED-I leadership to identify different ways to add more value to the corporate membership program through corporate-focused, strategic initiatives that provide additional exposure and opportunities to connect with institutional members
• Coordinate quarterly B2B discussions between corporate members and ACCED-I representatives on topics such as how to get the most out of your membership
• Increase corporate membership enrollment numbers through some targeted marketing campaigns and other promotional activities
• Improve the annual conference experience using information collected during the post-show survey to assist in our assessment and plans for next year

The Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International consists of over 1,300 campus professionals who design, market, coordinate and plan conferences and special events on the campuses of colleges and universities around the world.
